Children's Sizing Advice
Here at Sandy Feet Australia we know better than anyone that kids come in all shapes and sizes. Whilst your 8 year old may be a size 10 chest measurement, they have a size 8 hip measurement. That is why we offer all our swimwear and rashies as separates to allow you to get the right fit for your child. Here are a couple of tips to help you get the right swimwear and rashie fit:

Our rashies are a relaxed fit more like a t-shirt.

Our swimshorts and bottoms are designed to be more fitted

Our swimshorts all come with a drawstring and therefore can be tightened around the waist, so if your child is at the top end of the measurement for their size you may be better to go up a size.
- Our Toddler Sunsuits and our Girls Sunsuits are a larger make than the rest of the Sandy Feet Range and we recommend going down a size compared to your usual Sandy Feet sizing.
All our swimwear and rashies have been designed based on The Australian Sizing Standards. Please refer to the table below for details on kids swimwear sizing, and if you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help you work out the best fit for your child.
Adult Sizing Advice
Our adult rashies have been designed to be a relaxed fit - they are not a tight fit like traditional rashies.

FITTING ADVICE: These rashies are designed to be a more relaxed fit, if you prefer a tighter fit perhaps go down a size to your usual swimwear sizing. Check our sizing chart here.
I love my new rashie! I didn’t want too relaxed a fit so I followed advice and went down a size. It’s perfect, fitted without being tight or restrictive. Very comfy. Perfect for sandcastle building!
I bought Sardines rashie last year and I have just ordered Silver stripe. I love the zip front. You can put it on and leave it open while you're getting everyone ready and when sun is behind you. I've always been reluctant to wear 'jumper' style rashies as they are so hot as soon as you put them on. The style and the fabric and feel good.
Easy to order, quick to arrive and very comfortable. I love the full length zip, light colour and loose fit. (I'm usually between size 8 & 10. I ordered the size 8 and it's still a comfortably loose fit.)

The silver stripe rashie is so lite and fresh, I found the size on the small side - don’t like clingy clothes. I bought another top quality zip rashie from Sandy feet in a larger size and feel so comfortable in it 👍🏼 Would definitely recommend this garment.
This is a very comfortable rashie, fits well too . I went with my normal size for tops and it is just a little loose fitting, not baggy at all. It is very easy to remove after a swim thanks to the quick dry fabric and the front zipper.
